NOTE TO CAPTAINS AND PLAYERS IN THE MEN'S LEAGUE.
There will be INCIDENTS in the men's
league.
What we are attempting to do is treat all fairly.
What you can do.
Each time a ref gives a T - you are welcome to submit a report to myself.
Player involved can submit one but really would like a report coming from both
captains involved in the
game.
Can discuss issues such as roughness of game, chippy play, attitude of a
player(s), ref's conduct,
etc...
(If I am working the game, go ahead and submit anyways - always good
to hear
another side of the
story)
I will then use your report to deal with issues, using the committee (Jason and
Kevin).
Your report WILL NOT be sent to the referee(s), player(s) involved.
It will just be
used as a resource to see
where the problems are happening and what we can
do to address the situation.
Please tell your players to quit running to Geremaih with complaints about
refereeing.
YOU WILL BURN HIM OUT!
The league is up and going because of Geremaih, so let him be.
Please direct all your comments to Kevin, Jason or myself.
We are interested and care about the league and will do our best to deal with
all
issues.
General comment.
Referees are not all the same! Is this any different than players.
Different skills,
level of experience,
tolerance, etc...
Players must look at who is working their game and adjust.
Good officials make adjustments to who is playing the game all the time.
Good Behaviour Reward
Players who goes 5 games (playing) without receiving an additional T will have
the T removed from their
record.
Final question - The yelling of the word F..., it happened last
night in both games I worked.
I spoke to a player or two but once started, it seemed like all
were doing it. I realize it is
men's league but there are
kids in the gym, people standing at the door ways, wives, etc...
Comments on this issue would be appreciated, how we should(n't) deal with this
issue.
